Travel across the mountain ranges of La Sal, Domeyco and The Andes, the villages of Rio Grande, Chiu-Chiu and Cadiva, were we will sleep. Visit fortress ruins, petroglyphs, villages filled with history, geysers, thermal baths and forests of cactus.
Day 1: San Pedro de Atacama - Caspana
We leave from San Pedro de Atacama (2,500 m), crossing Valle de la Luna and the Llano de la Paciencia, heading north to cross the Cordillera de Domeyko trough mountain mining roads and reach the protected area of petroglyphs of Yerba Buena, where travel and explain these designs engraved in rocks for thousands of years.
Then we head towards the village of Rio Grande immerse on a huge canon. We drive towards Calama old mining roads and visit the town of Chiu-Chiu to see the oldest church in Chile. Here we'll have lunch at restaurant.
We continue our journey to the town of Caspana (3,000 m), a small village of 150 inhabitants Atacama, with terraced crops.
We'll have dinner after reviewing the route.

Day 2: Caspana - San Pedro de Atacama
We'll head towards the protected area of Geyser Geysers, crossing a mountain range at almost 5.000 meters. Tatio Geysers is the third largest geothermal field in the world to visit and tour their amazing fumaroles and abundant flora and fauna.
We'll visit the village of Machuca, a small village of 15 inhabitants with a picturesque church, to continue Puritama Park, Private Nature Reserve for lunch at its thermal pools.
We'll travel to San Pedro de Atacama to complete the 2 day trip.
