This tour will take you from the former saltpeter offices of Humberstone and Santa Laura to the beautiful oasis of Pica, passing through the incredible geoglyphs of Pintados, the town of Matilla and the Sanctuary of La Tirana.

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Iquique at 8:30 am to go to the former saltpeter mines of Humberstone and Santa Laura, where the saltpeter boom was lived almost a century ago. At the legacy, we will visit the schools, churches, theaters, swimming pools and markets that are maintained since the golden years of this mineral in both towns.
After the exsalitreras, we will cross the forest of Tamarugal in the direction of the geoglyphs of Pintados, composed of more than 300 figures drawn on the slopes of the hills of the Cordillera de la Costa. We will have free time to photograph them and then go to the great oasis of Pica, where we will know its main square, its church, and the aresanía posts.
We will make a stop to have lunch in a delicious typical restaurant and enjoy the semi thermal pool Cocha Resbaladero.
After this moment of relaxation we will go to Jurassic Park, where we will see replicas of dinosaurs, and then continue our way to the town of Matilla. We will visit its church, the stone bell tower, and the Matilla Lagar. Our final stop will be at the famous Sanctuary of La Tirana, to learn more about its religious festival that takes place annually in July.
