The Carretera Austral hides spectacular landscapes and you will be able to know part of them in this trekking through the Cerro Castillo National Park, which will take you directly to its beautiful New Zealander camp.

What you will visit:

We will meet at 7AM in the main square of Coyhaique, where a vehicle will be waiting for us to take us to Cerro Castillo National Park, located 100 km from the city. Upon reaching the goal we will begin an 8 km walk to the New Zealand camp.
The trek will last approximately 3 hours and will lead us through the middle of forests of lenga and ñire, on a land with slight slopes, until we reach the camp in the valley of the estuary Parada, surrounded by hills of great importance, such as El palo, El chocolate ,El Punta Duff and the impressive massif of Cerro Castillo.
Once there we will enjoy a well-deserved pic-nic lunch, then begin the return along the same path until we reach the starting point. From there we will areturn to Coyhaique.
