On December 2, 2019, governments, heads of state and non-governmental organizations will meet in Santiago de Chile in the most important event on the planet to combat climate change.

The 2019 United Nations Climate Change Conference, also known as COP25, will take place in Santiago, Chile from December 2 to 13. COP25 will incorporate the 25th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the 15th meeting of the parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP15) and the second meeting of the parties to the Paris Agreement ( CMA2).

The summit will take place in the Bicientenario de Cerrillos Park and will be led by Carolina Schmidt Zaldivar, Minister of Environment of Chile and designated president of the COP25, along with Gonzalo Muñoz, business entrepreneur and creator of social changes, named champion of climate action High level of COP 25.
