If you are traveling in Arica, this tour will take you to know the best of the Chilean highlands. We will visit the Lauca National Park that stands out for its Andean flora and fauna, surrounded by volcanoes with permanent fumaroles and we’ll know the villages of Socoroma and Putre.

We will pick you up at your hotel in Arica between 07:00 and 07:30 to take the road that will take us to the Lluta Valley, during which we will appreciate flora and fauna, and the famous geoglyphs of its hills.
During the ascent we are able to see the flora and fauna of the Andean area and visit archaeological sites such as Lluta geoglyphs.
Then we arrive at the town of Poconchile, we visit its church that dates from the XVII century. Then we go to the Quebrada de Cardones with its cactus more than 4 meters high. We can see the Pukará de Copaquilla and Tambo de Zapahuira to see a panoramic view of the Andean towns of Putre and Socoroma.
We are going to enter the Nature Sanctuary, Lauca National Park, a landscape surrounded by volcanoes with their permanent fumaroles and their typical Andean fauna, guanacos, alpacas, vicuñas, llamas and vizcachas. We can also see the typical bofedales of northern Chile, the yareta, brave straw and the Cocotani lagoons.
After that, we arrive to Chungará Lake, located at 4,500 meters above sea level. With this landscape we will have lunch on picnic ground and then we return to Putre, where we are having a city tour through the town, to later return to the city of Arica.
