We will visit the Alto Maipo Valley, just 45 minutes from Santiago, an area that includes the communes of Buin, Pirque, and Paine, at the foothills of the Andes Mountains. It is renowned for its selection of the finest red wines in Chile.
In this tour, we will explore Haras de Pirque Vineyard, where two passions come together: the breeding of thoroughbred horses and the production of premium wines. The visit starts with a tour of their facilities and continues to their horseshoe-shaped winery, nestled on a hillside among the vineyards, with a steep slope that allows grapes and musts to be handled by gravity. We will taste three of their wines in their underground tasting room in the barrel hall.
After a half-day of wine experience, we will return to Santiago.
