Today in the morning we will pick you up at your hotel and will go to the Vicuña commune, settled at 2,200 amsl.
In the Tololo Observatory we will know the Universe and his stars, galaxies and planets, therefore you will also know how a star or a planet is formed. It is one of the most famous of the observatories in Chile, located 87 km east of La Serena, next to the Vicuña column. Settled over 2,200 amsl, it was inaugurated in 1967 and is operated by the AURA, and possess 8 telescopes and a radiotelescope. The size of their mirrors vary from 61cm the smalles one, and 4,5 m.
