2:30 PM: Departure from the hotel.
2:40 PM: We will begin the tour in the beautiful city of Puerto Varas, also known as the "City of Roses," with a stop at the waterfront to admire the city's view from the bay and the "Aurora" sculpture with Lake Llanquihue in the background.
We will visit its main tourist attractions; the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (subject to availability of opening), built between 1915 and 1918 in monumental Baroque style, is an exact replica of a church in the Black Forest of Germany, from where some settlers arrived in our region from 1852. We will also explore the Old Quarter, where the first German settlers established themselves.
Later, we will descend towards the central area, along the beautiful Lake Llanquihue, and in the backdrop, weather permitting, we will see the imposing Osorno Volcano, which with its melting feeds Lake Llanquihue every day.
4:00 PM: Departure to Puerto Montt, 20 km to the south, the capital of the Lakes and Volcanoes Region, visiting the highest point of the city, from where we will have a beautiful panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and Tenglo Island.
From there, we will head to the Monument to the German Settlers, located in front of the Plaza de Armas and the waterfront pier, enjoying along the way its architectural heritage and cultural mix. Afterwards, we will continue towards the Angelmó area, famous in our country for its many craft shops and, of course, the fishing cove, where we will get to know the daily activity of the seafaring people who come here bringing the traditional seafood and fish to be sold in the market. We will also find typical eateries where the most delicious and traditional dishes that characterize our region are served.

Day 2: Puerto Montt - Puerto Varas - Frutillar - Puerto Octay - Osorno volcano

9:00 AM: Departure from the hotel.
9:10 AM: We will start our excursion by visiting the city of Llanquihue, famous for its cured meats and the place of origin of the Maullín River, which is part of the ancient Settlers' Route. In the city, we will visit Los Cisnes Beach and the Pier, which offer a beautiful view of the Lake and the Volcanoes. Then, we will drive along the shores of Lake Llanquihue to reach Frutillar.
10:30 AM: We arrive at this beautiful town with Bavarian reminiscences, where its first settlers came from. It emerged in 1856 as a shipping port, and soon tanneries, mills, breweries, etc., appeared. We will stroll around its beautiful old German-style houses, admiring their well-kept gardens and the incomparable view of the Osorno and Puntiagudo Volcanoes. Optionally, passengers can visit the German Colonial Museum, which depicts the life of the settlers, or enjoy a coffee with a typical German pastry from the region.
On its Lakeside Avenue, we will observe the Teatro del Lago, where the famous "Semanas Musicales de Frutillar" (Musical Weeks of Frutillar) are held annually, attracting artists from all over the world.
12:00 PM: From here, we will head to Puerto Octay, also located on the northern shore of the lake, marked by German influence and being the first port of departure for agricultural products towards Osorno. We will explore its old streets and the Plaza de Armas.

Osorno Volcano Excursion

From the heights of the volcano Osorno you’ll be able to see the most beautiful landscapes of Los Lagos region. This place is known for being the entrance to the Chilean Patagonia and one of the volcanoes with the most beautiful landscapes.
Departure from your hotel at 15:00 am approximately, we will head to the Osorno volcano, bordering the Llanquihue Lake. We will start going uphill in Ensenada in a transfer, until we get to the ski center which is located on the top of the volcano. There we’ll will have time to enjoy the landscapes and take pictures.

Day 3: Puerto Varas - Lago Todos los Santos - Saltos de Petrohué
Tour around the Todos Los Santos lake and navigation to Peulla

From the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park you can see the most spectacular landscapes of the Los Lagos Region, such as the Saltos del Petrohué, the Todos Los Santos lake and the ecological village of Peulla.
We will pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Varas between 7.30 - 7:45 AM, to go to the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, located on the road to Ensenada. Upon arrival we will visit the famous Saltos del Petrohué, and then we embark on a navigation through the Todos Los Santos lake, which will take us to the small ecological village of Peulla.
On the route we can watch impressive views of the Osorno, Puntiagudo and Tronador volcanoes, as well as the island of Margarita. After 1 hour and 45 minutes we will arrive to Peulla, where we will have time to have lunch and to do some of the varied activities of adventure tourism, like canopy, horseback riding, fishing, jetboat rides and 4x4 safari (not included in the value of the program).
At 6.30 pm we will be back in Puerto Varas.
