Andean crossing from Puerto Varas or Bariloche, for foreign passengers 12 hours

From Puerto Varas

This tourist program will begin at 8AM at the Turistour offices, located at 72 Salvador Street, in Puerto Varas. From there a vehicle will take us to Parque Vicente Pérez Rosales, to see the Petrohué Falls (entrance not included). Then we will go to Todos los Santos Lake, to embark on the catamaran that will take us to Bariloche, passing through different places.

At 10:30 AM, we will begin our navigation, with beautiful views of the Osorno and Puntiagudo volcanoes, and Mount Tronador, the most characteristic snow-white of this Andean crossing. At 11.15 we arrive at Peulla, an ecological village immersed in the middle of the forest, where we will have time to have lunch and perform some optional ecotourism activities.

At 2:00 pm we take the bus that take us to the Chilean Customs, to make the process of leaving the country. Then we will continue crossing the Andes mountain range until we reach Puerto Frias. There we take another catamaran that takes us to Puerto Alegre, where another bus will be waiting for us to take us to Puerto Blest.

At 6.30 pm we leave Puerto Blest on the last stretch on a catamaran that will sail through Nahuel Huapi Lake, bound for Puerto Pañuelo. From there, a bus will take us to Bariloche, where we will arrive at around 8:30 p.m.

From Bariloche

At 8.15AM we will meet at the offices of Turisur (Miter 150), where a bus will be waiting for us to take us to Puerto Pañuelo. From there, a catamaran will sail through Lake Nahuel Huapi towards Puerto Blest. A second bus will take us to Puerto Alegre, bordering the Frías River, until we get to Frías Lake, where we will take another catamaran heading to Puerto Frías.

Once there, another bus will take us to Peulla, arriving just at lunchtime. There you will also have time to carry out ecotourism activities (not included in the value of the program). At the end we will take the last catamaran, which will take us through Todos Los Santos Lake to the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. From there, a vehicle will take us to Puerto Varas, where we will arrive at 8:00 PM.
