What you will visit:

• 2 La Junta

We  depart from your hotel at approximately 9:00 am to La Junta on the Carretera Austral Norte.

During the tour we are visiting visit Queulat National Park and learn about its attractive Ventisquero Colgante. In the middle of the afternoon, we will arrive at the Puyuhuapi Fjord, one of the arms of the Pacific Ocean that penetrates the Patagonian Andes.

Later we continue our trip to the village of Puerto Puyuhuapi, a beautiful and small port village, with colorful wooden houses and colorful gardens, faithful testimonies of the history of German colonization.

In the afternoon we will arrive at La Junta, which name comes from the confluence of the Palena and Rosselot rivers.

 

What you will visit:

• 1 Chaitén

We leave from the hotel at approximately 9:00 am

This day we continue our journey along the Carretera Austral Norte, passing by the imposing suspension bridges of the Rosselot and Palena rivers.

Then, we will meet Lake Yelcho, which is a lake of glacial origin, with emerald green waters. Later we approach the Corcovado Gulf and arrive at the city of Chaitén.

This city was destroyed after the eruption of the volcano Chaitén.

 

What you will visit:

• 1 Pumalin Park
• 2 Futaleufú

We leave from the hotel at approximately 8:30 am in the direction of Futaleufú.

We start our journey along the Carretera Austral Norte until we reach the entrance to the Parque Pumalín, declared Nature Sanctuary. 66% of its surface corresponds to native forest, such as Alerce (the oldest living specimen is over 3,600 years old, being the second long lasting tree species in the world).

 Then, we are going towards the east, winding the Futaleufú River, internationally famous for its high level of kayak and rafting competitions.

13:00 hours: We arrive at the village of Futaleufú.

• 1 Puyuhuapi
• 2 Futaleufú

Free morning that you can use it to rest or to make some optional excursion (not included in the program).

- Rafting excursion on the Futaleufú River: (subject to weather conditions): Bridge to Bridge section

- Class III, IV, & IV + (8 km): This section is one of the most popular and fun sections of the Futaleufú River, Water makes your rapids an unforgettable adventure. Previous experience is not necessary. This section is called "Bridge to Bridge" because its rapids are between 2 bridges (Zapata footbridge and Futaleufú Bridge). Includes class III, IV and IV + rapids, such as "Suspension Bridge", "Magic Carpet", "Pillows" and "Mundaca".

Duration 4 hours approximately.

In the afternoon, we make our return to Puyuhuapi.

 

What you will visit:

• 1 Puyuhuapi Hot Springs

After breakfast, we return to Coyhaique.

On the way we will stop at the Venusquero thermal baths of Puyuhuapi, located on the banks of the in  Puyuhuapi fjord, to enjoy its hot springs.( Not included)
